Repossessed to skate is the name I’ve given my activity of learning and practising how to skate (again), specifically in the context of ongoing sessions at local skateparks. I’m relearning how to skate so I can show my kids how to skate.
Repossessed to skate is about having fun, learning new-old tricks that interest me and persevering.
Once again, I returned to the flatland and skated the car park of the local light-industrial estate, building endurance by pushing long and hard, practising ollie exercises over the lines of car positions, 180 cess slides at speed and grinding the exposed concrete edges.
Wearing the new pro-tec protective gear has given me the confidence to attempt tricks and alternate skating styles (without the fear of getting hurt too much).
