Dr Brian Oblivion in the newspaper
I got in to work early this morning, checked the morning newspaper and discovered that David Cromenbird had indeed been true to his word. He had contacted the print media and placed a full page missing persons announcement for his friend and colleague Dr Brian Oblivion in today’s morning newspaper. When I found the missing persons announcement in the newspaper I had to let all the other DS106 Summer of Oblivion participants know immediately. But as I soon discovered, Dr Oblivion had been found.

The City of Lost Children
I chose the film The City of Lost Children as the subject for this minimalist design assignment. Some of my favourite features of the film are the relationship between One and Miette, the lush emerald-green colouring and the Cyclops.

Design Assignment 12 brief
Take any photo from The Big Picture and overlay it with lyrics from a Top 100 song. Similar to The Big Caption project.
‘I wanna get dusted, I gotta get dusted baby’
For this design assignment I used a photo from The Big Picture’s coverage of the 2011 Dakar Rally and overlayed the lyrics from an old Schoolly D song I wanna get dusted. I wanted to contrast the strict and colloquial use of the word dust.
