In this scene from The Golden Child, Chandler Jarrell played by Eddie Murphy learns how to say thank you in Cantonese 多謝 (Dwo ze). The use of Cantonese (Should be speaking Mandarin anway?) could be considered controversial as the Golden Child is supposed to be from Tibet. Chandler could have said “Thuk-je-che” which is Tibetan for thank you. To add another language layer to this GIF, the subtitles are in Swedish. “Tack” is Swedish for thank you.
