PUSH ME TO PUSH YOU

PUSH ME TO PUSH YOU (to do something) is the name of my first go at tracking my daily push-ups with technology – it’s totally inspired by my recent experience of The Push-Up Challenge and its benefits, and the collaborative looniness of the Push Me Pull You video game.

I’m planning for future versions to be a little more slick and feature a simplified web interface with database backend, and options for creating profiles, push-up friends/collaborators/bros, essential tracking and optional sharing, and more, but for now it’s just a simple chart that tracks my daily push.

The Push-Up Challenge – completed for 2022

Super-stoked to have completed The Push-Up Challenge in June, 2022. My goal was to do 3,139 push-ups or as many as I can in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. I’m so grateful for the generous contributions I received and very proud to nominate Lifeline Melbourne, Vic as the beneficiary of the funds I raised.

Although the challenge is officially finished, I’ll continue to bank my push-ups and get ready for next year’s event. To keep me going, I continue to push and power-up to this custom Push-Up Challenge Playlist – give it a listen and tell me what ya reckon!

Update Tue 28 June, 2022: I also received a special presentation to celebrate my push-up experience, which i encourage you to check out, as well as an awesome certificate.
