A different way of looking at things. Günes Özdogan spot outside the Green Chemical Futures building at Monash Uni in Clayton. Lots of concrete hexagon-shaped stools in courtyard, too. Cool. My lil’ scoundrels showing some signs of wear. 58 millimetres• of goodness. •I’ve always wondered why wheels sizes are measured in metric (mm) units while board sizes are in imperial (inches). A post shared by Repurposed Ruin (@repurposed_ruin) on Feb 18, 2017 at 1:21am PST
Recommencing kerb abuse and switch rituals with sloth. You’re welcome.
It’s rough and raw. It’s not a skate park. It makes you work hard, for everything. I love it. It’s my new favourite place. I have this kerb all to myself (at night).
Knowing where to look
Great examples of a complete understanding of where the audience is most likely going to engage with content – on a fence while walking through an entrance to the station and (on the ground while they look down at their device) as they wait for their train. Great stuff.

It goes: “I’m not getting it done, but I’m having fun.” It’s a song about having fun and persistence, even when things aren’t quite going your way. On Saturday 20 August I attended the Service Design Boot Camp workshop at General Assembly in Melbourne, which was pretty cool. You have to have feedback as quickly as possible. 10,000 hours with a teacher, with constant feedback, is critical. What better feedback than skateboarding? You skate, you make a mistake, you fall, you bleed. Repeat. If you don’t get better, you break bones and have to stop. If you learn from your mistakes with the […]
